An impact driver and power drill are only as good as the bits you have for them, but most of the time these tools come with just a few options, if any. Luckily for those of us who just shelled out hundreds on a new power tool, getting a robust set of bits that can cover most situations is easy. Plus, Amazon just slashed the price on a brand name bit set, making now a great time to buy.
The DeWalt 34-Piece Impact Driver Bit Set is on sale for $12, 63% off its list price of $32. It has everything you want out of an impact driver bit set: durability, organization, and variety.
63% OffWe are happy to report that DeWalt does not count the case as a piece, so this set comes with a full 34 different bits. The sturdy plastic case is worth mentioning, however, as it has a couple of open spots for any other bits you might pick up and it uses DeWalt’s patented bit-bar design to allow for easy removal and customizable placement. The bits themselves are specifically designed to take the abuse of being used in an impact driver, up to 2,000 inch-pounds of torque. They’re made of steel hardened using a black oxide process for greater wear resistance and strength. A variety of Phillips, square drive, and flat head bits are included in this set.
“The tips are durable and can hold up in high tension situations without breaking,” one customer wrote. “Overall, it’s a great set at a fair price.”
One shopper wrote that they “love using these bits every day at work.” They called out the DeWalt quality and how this set has “tons of different sizes and types, and the case keeps them organized.” Another wrote that “they have lasted for more than ten years of almost everyday use,” an impressive feat for any tool.
