Whether you’re cutting rusted bolts on your car or removing old paint, it’s never a bad idea to have an angle grinder handy. DeWalt tools are some of the best in the business, and the brand’s angle grinder is no exception. While they’re not always cheap, right now, you can score 34% off the brand’s brushless model at Amazon, but only for a limited time.
The DeWalt 20V Max Brushless Angle Grinder is on sale for $165, which is 34% off the original $249 price tag. It boasts over 1,200 five-star ratings on Amazon and shoppers call it one of the best angle grinders they’ve ever used.
This battery-powered tool provides 2,000 inch-pounds of torque in just a 3.75-pound build, making it powerful yet easy to operate. No brush changes are required with this model because of the brushless motor, contributing to its longevity and efficiency. As for safety, this DeWalt grinder’s brake stops the wheel in two seconds or less on average. In case of a pinch, stall, or bind-up, this tool engages its electronic brake and uses maximum force to halt the wheel and then shut itself down.
One shopper said, “As soon as I got my hands on it, I could feel the quality and robustness of the tool. The cordless design is incredibly convenient, allowing me to move freely around my workspace without being tethered to an outlet.”
“Unlike another brand that I bought a few years ago, this baby doesn’t shut down while in use,” another reviewer said. “Another thing I love about it is that the cut is always fast and smooth as baby wipes. It’s reasons like this why I have been a fan of the DeWalt brand for ages and don’t ever plan on going anywhere.”
