Maybe you bought a DeWalt power tool that didn’t come with a battery, such as the DeWalt 20V Max XR 1/2-Inch Hammer Drill, and you need to pick one up to start using it. Or maybe you bought a DeWalt power tool kit that came with a lower-end battery, like the DeWalt 20V Max 2Ah Battery, that doesn’t last long, and you want to invest in one with a better runtime.
Either way, you could benefit from buying the DeWalt 20V Max 5Ah Battery, especially now that it’s on sale at Walmart for over 41% off. Normally, this battery sells for $119 through the retailer, but it’s currently just $69. That makes it a must-buy for anyone looking to give their DeWalt tools more power.
41% OffThis battery weighs just under 1.5 pounds, so you won’t have to worry about it making your DeWalt power tools too heavy. At the same time, it can provide more than enough power in most cases, thanks to its 5Ah capacity for extended runtime.
The battery can also help you avoid worrying about how much life it has left, since it’s equipped with a handy three-LED fuel gauge that can instantly reveal its remaining charge. Plus, it has relatively low self-discharge, reducing the chances of it dying between uses.
This battery works with all DeWalt 20V Max tools, too, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone with a power tool collection that includes them. Whether you’re a professional mechanic or handyman buying DeWalt batteries in bulk, or a DIYer relying on a smaller battery that just isn’t cutting it anymore, you can’t go wrong with the deal Walmart is offering.
“On most days, this battery lasts all day even with heavy use,” one reviewer wrote. “I only change it once with impact drivers and screw guns, if that.”
“I’ve been very impressed with the power and longevity of this battery,” another reviewer remarked. “I rarely have to stop and charge it before completing a job. Compared to other brands, DeWalt’s batteries are far superior.”
