Craftsman has always been one of the tool industry’s go-to brands for those searching for high-quality mechanics tool sets. So it would be easy for the century-old company to rest on its laurels and continue churning out the same old tool sets it always has. But it keeps pushing the envelope, designing an even wider range of mechanics tool sets in various sizes to appeal to a much broader audience.
If you’re in the market for a new mechanics tool set, you can find Craftsman options that include anywhere from 10 pieces to over 300 pieces. If you’d like to get your hands on one that falls in between these two extremes, the Craftsman 135-Piece Mechanics Tool Set is an excellent choice — and it’s on sale at Amazon for almost 25% off. The set normally sells for $129, but as part of a limited-time deal that has brought its price down to a 30-day low, you can purchase it for only $99 right now.
This 135-piece mechanics tool set includes three low-profile, 72-tooth ratchets that have heads up to 25% thinner than other ratchets, allowing you to squeeze them into tight spaces with ease. It also includes a huge assortment of both SAE and metric sockets that you can use in conjunction with the ratchets. Additionally, it has a full complement of specialty wrenches and bits that are perfect for anyone who spends their fair share of time working on cars, regardless of whether they do it to make a living or just for fun.
Each tool in this set is constructed from durable alloy steel and features a full-polish chrome finish, providing it with rust resistance. The entire set also comes packaged in a bright red, heavy-duty carrying case to keep all the tools well organized and easily accessible when you’re in the middle of auto repairs and maintenance. It has transformed the kit into a huge hit among car enthusiasts.
“It’s a DIY mechanic’s dream set,” one reviewer wrote. “It has everything you need to work on cars and projects around the house.”
“Craftsman has really stepped up its game with its latest tool sets,” another reviewer added. “The brand has made this mechanic happy with this set by providing great tools at a great price.”
