When you’re first creating a tool collection from scratch, you can get away with investing in a relatively basic wrench set, such as the Craftsman Overdrive 7-Piece Standard Wrench Set. Even though it’s a small set, it will give you most of the standard wrench sizes you need to tackle everything from general auto repairs to minor household fixes.
As your collection grows, adding specialty wrenches will provide more sizes, enabling you to take on more advanced projects with ease. Buying the Craftsman 60-Piece Specialty Wrench Set is a simple way to incorporate a bunch of these wrenches into your collection at once — and if you buy it now, you can get a great deal at Amazon that will save you over 40%. The set typically retails for $319, but for a limited time, you can purchase it for just $177.
This massive Craftsman wrench set is so extensive that one reviewer wrote about how they “thought it would never end” while going through it. It features 30 crowfoot wrenches, 16 ignition wrenches, and 14 double open end wrenches, supplying you with enough wrenches to tackle just about any task. The crowfoot wrenches, in particular, will really come in handy, as they’re each designed to attach to any 3/8-inch drive bar or ratchet and allow you to work in tight spaces without any issues.
Additionally, every wrench in this set is carefully crafted from high-grade alloy steel and features a full-polish chrome finish, making it corrosion-resistant. Each one is also clearly marked, making it easy to identify, which will obviously be important when you consider how many wrenches you will welcome into your collection by bringing this set home.
“It’s Craftsman, so you know the quality is good,” one reviewer wrote. “All the sizes I needed are here, and these wrenches are well-made and will last for a lifetime.”
Another reviewer added, “This set is simply amazing. It has so many different wrenches, it’s incredible. It would be great for someone starting out or even looking to expand their collection.”
