A solid cordless power drill has become as much an essential household tool as a hammer or screwdriver, and some household tool kits are acknowledging this. These all-in-one kits, designed to outfit homeowners and renters with all the tools they need to make common household repairs, aren’t complete without a power drill, and one comprehensive option that comes with a cordless drill is on sale at Walmart with a big discount.
The Catgood 120-Piece Power Drill Tool Set is on sale for $45 at Walmart, 44% off its normal $81 price tag. This deal is good on the yellow 120-piece option; 27- and 30-piece sets are available for less money but without a discount, and the chance to get all these tools for this price makes it by far the most appealing option of the three.
44% OffThis set comes with a pretty typical selection of hand tools, non-negotiables like a utility blade and tape measure, and storage boxes. It’s all fairly standard for kits of this kind until you get to the batteries, charger, and electric drill. At worst, it can make assembling furniture less of an ordeal, and at best it can make trickier tasks like mounting shelves and hanging doors possible without professional help. There’s a variable speed driver with enough torque for light-duty tasks like these, and the inclusion of two batteries and a charger would make this a pretty stellar deal even if it didn’t come with any other tools.
“This drill is really useful and lightweight,” one user wrote. “It’s user-friendly, and the included accessories are great for moderate tasks.” They also called it “powerful and easy to set up,” making it exactly what you’d want with a foundational tool kit.
Other shoppers wrote that this drill is “top-notch, lightweight, and fits comfortably” in your hand. It’s also “perfect for drilling or driving in wood, metal, and plastic.” They called the rest of the kit “useful and well-organized” and “compact and efficient.”
