Backyard hangouts don’t have to end just because the days are getting shorter. With fall on the horizon and sunset creeping earlier, solar lights are an easy way to keep patios, decks, fences, pergolas, gardens, and backyard seating areas feeling usable after dark. Outdoor solar lights are also great for camping trips, cookouts, parties, tailgates, and other outdoor setups where you want warm lighting without hunting for an outlet.
For a limited time, the Brightown Solar LED String Lights are on sale at Amazon for $15, which is already 55% off their normal $40 price. To lock in an additional 20% off, make sure you select the on-page digital coupon to bring the price down to $15. The 52-foot strand includes 15 shatterproof LED bulbs plus one spare bulb, with a 9-foot lead wire, 1-foot tail wire, and 3-foot spacing between bulbs. Since they’re solar powered, you can hang them around a patio, tent, fence, tree, or campsite without running extension cords across the yard.
Top SellerThe dual charging setup is one of the best features here, as they can charge by solar power or USB, with a full charge in about four hours and up to more than 25 hours of illumination depending on settings and conditions. The solar panel automatically charges in sunlight, turns the lights on at dusk, and shuts them off at dawn, while the 180-degree adjustable panel helps you aim it for better sun exposure.
The included remote gives you four brightness levels, three light modes, and 6- or 8-hour auto-off timers, so you can adjust the setup for everyday patio lighting, a backyard BBQ, a camping trip, or a more festive gathering. The IP65 waterproof and weather-resistant design is built for outdoor use in rain, wind, heat, and even snow, while the shatterproof bulbs make the strand more practical around kids, pets, campsites, and busy patios. For adding low-effort outdoor lighting before fall evenings arrive, this is a great solar upgrade for just $15.
“These solar bulbs are fantastic,” raved one happy shopper. “They look well-made and provide just the right amount of brightness.”
“I absolutely love the solar lights,” echoed a second buyer. “They have been up for about six months, and they’re still as bright as ever. The durability of the lights are incredible.”
