If you grew up in the ‘90s, the popular TV show Home Improvement probably served as your introduction to tools. It ran for eight seasons, from 1991 through 1999, and featured Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor raising three sons with his wife Jill while hosting a cable TV show all about tools called Tool Time.

The Big Red Torin 16-Inch Steel Tool Box looks just like a tool box that would have appeared on the Tool Time set (the Home Improvement: The 20th Anniversary Complete Collection is actually packaged in a cardboard tool box with a similar appearance). It’s a throwback to a much simpler time in the tool world, when most tool boxes were constructed from metal since durability was one of the only things that really mattered. It’s also available for a ‘90s-era price right now, thanks to a 31% discount. It normally retails for $19 at Amazon, but you can purchase it for only $13 for a limited time.

Measuring just over 16.5 inches long, almost 7 inches wide, and roughly 5 inches tall, this tool box isn’t going to be big enough to house your entire tool collection. However, it has enough space to store your most-used tools, the ones you wish to take on the road when you leave home, or even those that you want to keep in your car at all times. It’s also made out of heavy-duty gauge steel and features a powder coat finish to make it corrosion-resistant, giving it the durability you demand from a tool box.

Additionally, this tool box features a comfortable-grip handle, allowing you to carry it around with ease. It also boasts a tough-as-nails latch to keep your tools secure and prevent the lid from opening inadvertently when transporting the tool box from point A to point B.

“It’s a great tool box with a strong latch and a sturdy construction,” one reviewer wrote.

“I was surprised by how many tools I could fit in it,” another reviewer remarked. “It’s perfect for keeping tools in the car.”
