Electric bikes are ubiquitous on urban and suburban streets around the country, but with the right bike you can also do lots of off-road exploring. Right now, an electric mountain bike that’s as suited for rugged paths as smooth asphalt is on sale at Walmart for less than half of what it would normally cost you. This low price, part of Walmart’s Summer Deals event, is a great deal on an e-bike with solid specs that’s also earned lots of positive customer reviews.

The Ancheer 500W Electric Mountain Bike is on sale for $380 at Walmart, 53% off its normal $800 price tag. This deal is good on the two in-stock colors, blue and green, each of which are more of an accent to the black frame. Three other colors have sold out already, suggesting that this deal will likely put the remaining inventory at risk of selling out fast.

The features that make this bike suitable for mountain biking also make for a particularly smooth ride on less rugged terrain. There’s a lockable carbon steel front suspension fork and rear shock-absorbing seat that work in concert to smooth any bumps, a 21-speed Shimano shifter for precise adjustments to riding conditions in any given moment, and a lightweight yet sturdy aluminum frame. The battery and electrical system are UL 2849-certified with BMS protection against short-circuit, overcharge, overcurrent, and high temperature issues. There are also four levels of pedal assist, a thumb throttle, and a manual biking mode, all of which are reflected on the onboard LCD screen. Together, the battery and motor have a range of up to 50 miles and a maximum speed of 20 miles per hour.

One shopper wrote that “this bike checks most of the boxes for an e-bike” because “the build quality is good and assembly is easy and quick.” Once on the road, they found that “the ride is comfortable.”

Other customers called this a “great bike” that’s “easy to put together” and “very fun to ride.” One added that it’s “very powerful and manages hills without any hesitation” and the “battery life is great.”

Deals We’re Loving

The Ancheer 500W Electric Mountain Bike is a well-designed, well-made, and well-reviewed electric mountain bike. Its colors keep selling out, which means if you’re interested in grabbing one for just $380, you should do so ASAP to ensure your summer is full of all the electric mountain biking you can handle.
