An electric mountain bike can be a fun way to make the most of warm weather, especially if you want something that can handle more than smooth pavement. Instead of hopping in the car every time you want to go somewhere, an e-bike gives you a way to save on gas while still getting outside for errands, neighborhood rides, park paths, campground cruising, or weekend off-road adventures. The wider tires also add a little more confidence on gravel, grass, dirt, sand, and rougher paths, which makes this style more versatile than a basic cruiser e-bike.
As part of a flash deal at Walmart, the Suntibye 1000W Electric Mountain Bike is marked down to $540 from its usual $1,000 price. That’s a big discount on a compact electric mountain bike with a 1000W motor, a listed 1500W peak output, and a top speed of up to 28 MPH. It also has a removable 48V 15Ah battery, with range estimates of 20 to 30 miles in throttle mode and up to 30 to 65 miles with pedal assist, depending on rider weight, terrain, speed, and assist level.
46% OffThe smaller frame is a key part of the appeal here. Suntibye lists this model for riders from 4 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 9 inches tall, so it could be a better fit for shorter riders, teens, women, beginners, or anyone who doesn’t want a full-size e-bike that feels bulky. The 20-inch fat tires provide extra grip and stability, while the front suspension fork helps absorb bumps on uneven surfaces. It also has 7-speed gearing, five pedal-assist levels, mechanical disc brakes, an LCD display, an adjustable saddle, a 330-pound load capacity, and UL2849 certification. At 68.3 pounds, it’s still a substantial bike, but for riders who fit the size range and want a fun, off-road-capable ride for summer, it packs a lot of hardware into its limited-time price.
“This is a great electric bike,” raved one happy buyer. “It charges quickly and it’s easy to use. It’s really fun and everything works great.”
