Outdoor storage becomes a lot more valuable once spring cleanup and summer yard projects start filling the garage with tools, equipment, and seasonal gear. A midsize metal shed can help clear out lawn mowers, ladders, bikes, cleaning tools, pool supplies,, sports equipment, and other bulky items that don’t need to take up space indoors. It’s especially useful if you want a dedicated backyard or patio storage spot that’s larger than a deck box but not as massive as a full 10-foot or 12-foot shed.
Thanks to this deal we found at Walmart, you can get the Alaulm 8-Foot by 6-Foot Metal Outdoor Storage Shed on sale for just $219. Typically costing $370, this is a strong discount on a galvanized metal storage shed with enough room for common outdoor tools and equipment. The shed measures 97.2 inches wide, 72 inches deep, and 72.4 inches tall, making it a nice size for patios, gardens, poolside areas, or backyard corners. It also ships in two boxes and includes gloves, a screwdriver, and detailed instructions for assembly.
The sliding door is one of the more useful design details here, especially if you’re placing the shed in a tighter spot where a swinging door would be harder to use. The door has pullable handles and a smooth track, while the two vents help with airflow inside the shed. That matters for outdoor storage because trapped heat and moisture can make a shed uncomfortable and rough on tools, cushions, and other gear. The pitched roof is designed to help rain drain off instead of pooling on top, and the galvanized iron construction is meant to handle sun, UV exposure, and different weather conditions.
This shed might not be the right choice if you need a full workshop or heavy-duty storage for expensive equipment, but for organizing lawn tools, bikes, ladders, pool gear, and backyard supplies, it’s a useful amount of space for less than $220.
One reviewer commented, “This outdoor storage unit is a breeze to put together, super easy to use, and has plenty of storage space, not to mention it looks great too.”
Another shopper said, “This outdoor storage shed has plenty of space for all my tools, and the side window lets in great airflow. No more hot, damp inside! Total game changer for my backyard storage.”
