Overview
The 2026 Lucid Gravity midsize 3-row luxury SUV expands its lineup with a cheaper Touring trim this year. The numbers make for very impressive reading: 560 horsepower in the Touring, 828 hp in the Grand Touring, a range of up to 450 miles, and fast charging at up to 400 kW. Dual-motor AWD powertrains are standard.
The Gravity is a 2-row 5-seater, but can be specified with a third row to seat up to seven. It is extremely spacious, very quick, and remarkably efficient, making it the ideal SUV for tech-focused buyers who want 3-row flexibility, genuine long-distance range, and real performance in a luxury electric SUV.

What’s New for 2026
After launching late last year in Grand Touring and Dream Edition trims, the 2026 Gravity lineup expands with the new base Touring trim with a smaller 89-kWh battery and lower 560-hp output, dropping the entry-point price by nearly $20K. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have also been added as an over-the-air update. An even cheaper 480-hp entry-level Pure trim is expected at some point, and we may even get the 1,234-hp Air Sapphire powertrain in a like-minded Gravity soon. The $140K Dream Edition is no longer available.

Exterior
The Gravity translates the Air sedan’s styling into an SUV format, with car-like aerodynamics, a sleek profile, and flush detailing resulting in a superb 0.24 drag coefficient, which helps to explain its class-leading range. The gently tapering roofline and smooth surfacing give it a premium appearance. Five colors are offered, and wheel sizes are staggered 20/21-inch front/rear at the base level, though 21/22-inch and 22/23-inch setups are available at the expense of range. Darkened Stealth and a bright Platinum exterior themes are available.

Interior
Like the Air, the Gravity sets new standards for space utilization in its class, with vast second-row space and a genuinely adult-friendly (optional) third row. Clever storage solutions, charging ports, and tray tables add to the cabin’s practicality. At the base level, you get PurLuxe leatherette upholstery, heated 12-way power front seats, a power frunk and liftgate, and ambient lighting; leather and a heated steering wheel and rear seats cost extra.
A huge 34-inch Glass Cockpit display is supplemented with a 12.6-inch landscape-style center touchscreen, and infotainment features include both wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, online navigation, and a 10-speaker audio system, which can be upgraded to a 22-speaker setup.

Lucid

Price Range and Best Value Trim
The 2026 Lucid Gravity’s price starts just below $80K and tops out at nearly $100K.
| Trim | Price |
| Base trim: Touring | $79,900 |
| Top trim: Grand Touring | $98,900 |
| Best value trim: Touring | $79,900 |
Given the level of equipment and the ample 337-mile range, the base Touring is the high-value pick at $80K. The GT is recommended for people who absolutely need the extra 100+ miles of range.
2026 Lucid Gravity Specs Overview
Both trims use dual-motor AWD layouts but differ in power output, battery size, and range.
Powertrain and Battery Options
| Powertrain type | System horsepower | Torque | Battery capacity (kWh) | Drivetrain |
| Dual motor (Touring) | 560 | 811 lb-ft | 89 | AWD |
| Dual motor (Grand Touring) | 828 | 909 lb-ft | 123 | AWD |
Range and Efficiency (MPGe / MPG / Electric Range)
In its most efficient configuration with 20/21-inch front/rear wheels, the Touring returns EPA figures of 115/106/111 MPGe city/highway/combined, with a range of 337 miles on its 89-kWh battery. The Grand Touring on standard 20/21-inch wheels is a touch less efficient at 113/103/108 MPGe, but can travel 450 miles on its larger 123-kWh battery. Larger 21/22-inch wheel packages and 3-row seating reduce range to a minimum of 378 miles.
Charging
The Gravity Touring can be charged at up to 350 kW, adding 200 miles of range in about 15 minutes. The Grand Touring’s charging speed peaks at 400 kW, reducing this time to 11 minutes. A native NACS charging port provides access to the Tesla Supercharger network.
Performance and 0-60 MPH
Even the 560-hp Touring accelerates to 60 MPH in only 4.0 seconds, and the 828-hp GT is even quicker at 3.4 seconds. Both deliver instant torque and towering performance for an SUV, yet the adjustable air suspension adds comfort and composure on all surfaces.

Dimensions
The Gravity is a midsize 3-row luxury SUV and, typical of the breed, is around 200 inches long.
| Dimension | Measurement |
| Length | 198.2 in |
| Width (without mirrors) | 78.7 in |
| Height | 65.2 in |
| Wheelbase | 119.5 in |
| Curb weight | 5,670 – 6,048 lbs |
Interior Space (Front and Rear)
The Gravity is extremely spacious for a midsize 3-row SUV, offering nearly 43 inches of legroom in the second row and nearly 34 inches in the third, which makes it fully habitable by adults. Specifying 3-row seating increases seating capacity from five to seven.
| Measurement | Row 1 | Row 2 | Row 3 |
| Headroom | 42.0 in | 41.0 in | 37.4 in |
| Legroom | 40.9 in | 42.6 in | 33.9 in |
Cargo Space
Cargo capacity is class-leading in the midsize class. Lucid doesn’t provide a number for the volume behind the third row, but behind the second, around 56 cu-ft is available. The total available space with all the rear rows folded down is 106.2 cu-ft in 3-row guise and 111.9 cu-ft in 2-row guise. Besides the vast cavern in the rear, the frunk holds a very impressive 8.1 cu-ft.

Ground Clearance
The Gravity’s standard ground clearance is rather low for an SUV at seven inches, but the adjustable air suspension can adapt to your needs, should you want to raise it for rough roads. Dropped to its low clearance, it helps ensure a 0.24 drag coefficient. The big wheels also preclude rough off-road work, so this should be seen as an on-road luxury SUV.
Warranty
Lucid provides rather average warranty coverage and no complimentary maintenance.
| Coverage | Term |
| New Vehicle Limited Warranty | 4 years / 50,000 miles |
| High-voltage battery | 8 years / 100,000 miles |
| Complimentary maintenance | Not included |
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Class-leading range up to 450 miles and up to 828 hp
- Fast charging up to 400 kW
- Spacious 3-row cabin for seven
- Native NACS port
- Up to 6,000-lb towing
Cons:
- High price climbs quickly with options
- Range drops with larger wheels and third row
- Software still maturing
Verdict
The Gravity is arguably the most impressive electric SUV in its class, combining segment-defining features such as the longest range and the lowest drag coefficient with supercar acceleration and space utilization that rivals full-size SUVs. Even the Touring with its much smaller 89-kWh battery achieves 337 miles, which makes it the sweet spot for most people. The in-car tech is impressive, but the software still seems to be glitchy as Lucid tries to iron out the bugs. Other than that, and the fact that options quickly inflate the price, the Gravity sits at the top of its class.
