Overview
The 2027 Lincoln Nautilus midsize luxury SUV makes a persuasive case for taking the scenic route from an exceptionally comfortable seat. This 5-passenger luxury SUV trades the corner-carving ambitions of a BMW X5 for a hushed cabin, forgiving ride, and a dashboard seemingly borrowed from mission control. All-wheel drive comes standard, along with a 250-hp turbocharged 4-cylinder; an available 310-hp hybrid adds muscle and thrift.
The 8-speed automatic makes for unhurried progress, while the suspension’s enthusiasm for smoothing over rough pavement is the real selling point. Switch into firmer Excite mode, however, and some of that easygoing charm disappears. With Premiere, Reserve, and Black Label trims, the Nautilus offers plenty of luxury without demanding a European-size budget.

What’s New for 2027
Lincoln reshapes the hood and fenders, updates the grille and lighting, and introduces five new wheel designs. Nocturnal Blue (below right) joins every trim, while the purple Frosted Fig (above and below left) is reserved for Black Label. The cabin gains Afterglow upholstery on Premiere and Reserve, plus Eminent Hour and Elysian Light themes for Black Label.
The hybrid disappears from the entry-level Premiere I equipment group but remains available on Premiere II and above. A 4-year Security Package adds theft alerts, start inhibit, and stolen-vehicle services. The Reserve’s new Renew package bundles the Rejuvenate relaxation feature with 24-way massaging front seats. A heated steering wheel becomes standard on Premiere II and higher versions. Premiere I also swaps its 60/40-split EasyFold rear seat for a manually folding and reclining bench, a decidedly low-tech change in an otherwise screen-happy SUV.

Exterior
The refreshed 2027 Nautilus wears a taller, more intricate grille, newly sculpted front bodywork, and a slimmer rear light bar. It’s an imposing shape, though the grille occasionally seems determined to enter the room before the rest of the SUV. Premiere models receive 19-inch wheels, Reserve upgrades to 21s, and Black Label rides on 22-inch alloys with Radiant Copper accents.
Multi-projector LED headlights are standard on Reserve and Black Label, while the latter gets its own distinctive grille treatment. Buyers seeking extra attitude can specify the black-accented Jet Appearance Package. Overall, the makeover feels more polished than daring, which suits an SUV whose idea of athleticism generally involves gliding through rush-hour traffic.

Interior
Step inside and the headline act is an enormous 48-inch panoramic display stretching across the dashboard. An 11.1-inch central touchscreen handles everyday controls, while wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto spare occupants another cable hunt. Materials feel appropriately upscale, and the sliding second row makes excellent use of the five-seat layout. Rear passengers get 43.1 inches of legroom, enough to make some first-class airline seats look rather stingy.
Premiere includes a 10-way power driver’s seat and 10-speaker audio. Reserve adds premium leather-trimmed upholstery and a 14-speaker Revel stereo, with massage-equipped front seats available. Black Label turns up the indulgence with exclusive cabin themes and a 28-speaker Revel Ultima 3D system. Lincoln Rejuvenate can coordinate lighting and seat settings for a relaxation session, although anyone hoping for an actual masseuse should temper expectations.

Price Range and Best Value Trim
| Trim | MSRP | |
| Premiere | $54,495 | |
| Reserve | $64,495 | |
| Black Label | $77,695 |
The 2027 Lincoln Nautilus’s price range spans three trims, but the Reserve is the sweet spot despite its $10,000 jump over Premiere. Its leather-trimmed seats, standard 14-speaker Revel system, and 21-inch wheels lend the Nautilus a convincingly premium atmosphere without the Black Label’s hefty surcharge. The standard 250-hp engine provides sufficient everyday performance, while the available 310-hp hybrid adds $3,500 to the bill and offers extra punch and better fuel economy without requiring the top trim.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Comfort-focused ride and impressively quiet cabin
- Standard 48-inch display and four years of BlueCruise
- Roomy rear seats and available hybrid efficiency
Cons:
- Modest 1,750-pound towing limit
- Largest wheels compromise ride comfort
- Hybrid’s low-speed brake feel could be smoother
Verdict
The Nautilus understands that plenty of luxury-SUV shoppers would rather relax than chase lap times. Its striking interior, expansive rear accommodation, and generous standard technology make daily driving feel special, and the Reserve strikes the most sensible balance of comfort and cost. The hybrid is particularly appealing if fuel bills matter. Keen drivers can find livelier alternatives, but for quiet, easygoing cruising, this Lincoln makes a convincing argument for doing less and enjoying it more.
