Overview
The 2025 Genesis GV80 Coupe midsize luxury SUV arrives as an all-new nameplate, pairing a fastback roofline with five seats on the same platform as the standard GV80. Both trims share a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 and an eight-speed automatic with standard AWD, while the upper 3.5T e-Supercharger adds a 48-volt system to bring the output to 409 horsepower.
Interior tech comes courtesy of a 27-inch OLED panel that integrates the instrument cluster and infotainment display into one horizontal unit, with Nappa leather upholstery and an 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system as standard on both configurations.

What’s New for 2025
The GV80 Coupe arrives for the first time in 2025 as Genesis launches it alongside the GV80 SUV. An exclusive Bering Blue exterior color (below left) debuts with this model, alongside four interior color combinations, including Ultramarine Blue with Orange Stitch (below center) and Smoky Green with Vanilla Beige (below right), that are not shared with the standard GV80 SUV.

Exterior
A steeply raked Parabolic Line spans the full length of the body, producing the coupe’s low, sweeping roofline that distinguishes it from the upright GV80 SUV while carrying over the shared front fascia. Up front, Micro Lens Array LED headlights house low beams, high beams, LED DRLs, and turn signals within a single slim unit, paired with the Genesis Crest Grille.
The 3.5T rides on 20-inch sport alloy wheels, while the 3.5T e-SC steps to 22-inch units. Wheel selection also affects brake caliper color, with silver on the 3.5T and black on the 3.5T e-SC. At the rear, LED taillights mirror the front lights in a similar design with a roof-mounted spoiler and a lip spoiler finishing the profile.

Interior
Both trims have Nappa leather seating surfaces, a 16-way power driver’s seat with ergo motion and cushion extension, and a 12-way power passenger seat, all standard. The 27-inch OLED display integrates navigation, digital gauges, and infotainment paired with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
An 18-speaker Bang & Olufsen system produces 1,400 watts through a 14-channel amplifier for entertainment needs. Interior trim differs by configuration; matte-finish wood is standard on the 3.5T, while carbon fiber replaces it on the 3.5T e-SC.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- 27-inch OLED display and B&O audio standard on both trims.
- Powertrain warranty extends to 10 years / 100,000 miles.
- Standard AWD, heated and ventilated front and rear seats on both trims
Cons:
- Fuel economy at 19-20 mpg combined trails plug-in rivals.
- Only two trims limit configuration flexibility.
- Reduced practicality over the SUV
Verdict
The GV80 Coupe lands below the BMW X6 xDrive40i and Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC Coupe in price while matching or exceeding their standard equipment levels. The 27-inch OLED panel, standard B&O audio, and Nappa leather seating on the base trim represent genuine advantages at the entry price. The 10-year powertrain warranty is a category-leading figure that no German rival in this segment currently matches. On the downside, fuel economy figures are the clearest weakness for plug-in alternatives.
