Overview
The 2025 Genesis G90 is a full-size luxury sedan positioned as the flagship of the Korean brand’s lineup, built on the second-generation platform that debuted for the 2023 model year. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6, offered either in standard form or paired with a 48-volt mild-hybrid e-supercharger system that lifts output from 375 to 409 horsepower.
The cabin prioritizes passenger comfort over driver engagement, with power soft-close doors, a dual 12.3-inch panoramic display, and Nappa leather seating surfaces standard across both trims. Buyers wanting European levels of refinement at a lower price point will find the G90 a credible option.

What’s New for 2025
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto become standard on both 2025 G90 trims, replacing the wired phone projection carried over from the 2023 introduction. Beyond that, the G90 carries into this model year largely unchanged, with no powertrain revisions, trim restructuring, or feature redistribution between the two configurations. Genesis has not altered the exterior color roster or interior palette selections from the prior model years, either.

Exterior
The G90’s front profile centers on a shield-shaped Crest Grille flanked by Genesis’s Two-Line LED headlights, which rely on Micro Lens Array technology to combine low beams, DRLs, turn signals, and high beams within a single housing. A clamshell hood integrates the hood and front fenders into one seemingly continuous panel, eliminating the seam at the nose for a cohesive appearance. The 3.5T rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, while the E-Supercharger trim steps up to 21-inch units with a Diamond Cut Machine Finish.

Interior
The G90’s cabin pairs Nappa leather upholstery with real wood trim and an 18-way power-adjustable driver seat that includes four massage modes and front ventilation as standard equipment. A panoramic dual-screen integrates a 12.3-inch touchscreen with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, complemented by a dial-type Shift-by-Wire and a fingerprint authentication system in the center console.Â
Both trims include a standard Bang & Olufsen audio system, active noise cancellation, and an onboard fragrance diffuser, while the E-Supercharger upgrades to a 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D system simulating concert hall acoustics. Rear passengers in the upper trim receive ventilated, heated, reclining, and massaging seats.

Price Range and Best Value Trim
The 2025 Genesis G90’s price range spans $10,300 over two trims. The 3.5T AWD is the stronger value, delivering trick Road Preview electronic suspension, which uses a forward-facing camera to proactively adjust dampers ahead of road imperfections, alongside power soft-close doors, massaging front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Standard Nappa leather and massaging front seats
- 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty leads the segment
- Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto standard for 2025
- Power soft-close doors standard on both trims
Cons:
- Trunk shrinks to 10.6 cu ft on E-SC trim
- 0-60 mph takes 5.1 seconds in the E-SC trim
- Infotainment navigation feels dated versus German rivals
- Genesis brand recognition still trails European competitors
Verdict
The 2025 G90 enters its third year with primarily wireless phone projection as its headline change. The 3.5T AWD covers Road Preview suspension, power soft-close doors, massaging front seats, and a panoramic sunroof without requiring the $10,300 step to the E-Supercharger. That upper trim earns its premium primarily for buyers who regularly transport rear passengers, as the ventilated, reclining, and massaging rear seats it adds are not offered in the base configuration. Against its German rivals, the G90 concedes driver engagement and badge prestige while matching interior quality and outpacing all three on powertrain warranty coverage.
