The 2025 Tesla Cybertruck in a Nutshell

Oh, the stories (and memes) that the Tesla Cybertruck has made over the years. One can say that it’s one of the most polarizing cars made this decade, perhaps of all time. Its polygonal styling and Blade Runner aesthetics contribute to that, as well as its maker’s, er, interesting personality.

Introduced as a prototype in 2019, it eventually reached production in November 2023 for the 2024 model year. As with all Teslas, updates are done over the air, although there was a short-lived entry-level model that was introduced and discontinued this year. For 2026, it’ll carry over with the usual OTA updates.

2025 Tesla Cybertruck Lease Deals for December

Both trims of the Cybertruck are available to lease this December. However, by the time you read this, the rates have risen a bit. For the all-wheel drive model, it’s $849 for 36 months, although it was $729 with $6,424 due at signing.

For those who want the extreme version, the Cyberbeast version goes for $1,729 for 36 months with a downpayment of $7,425. There is a discount for military, first responders, healthcare workers, and students, too, and it’s $500 off the list price. Mileage is capped at 10,000 per year, and there is a charge of $0.25 for every mile exceeded.

2025 Tesla Cybertruck Highlights

Tesla Cybertruck prices range from $79,990, all the way to $114,990. Its trims are the standard all-wheel drive and the frankly overkill Cyberbeast. Standard kit includes an adaptive air suspension system, four-wheel steering, locking differentials, integrated 120V/240V outlets in the bed and cabin, Autopilot, panoramic glass roof, and more. Full Self-Driving is an $8,000 option.

Standard Cybertruck models use a dual-motor arrangement paired with a 123kWh battery that makes 600 hp and 744 lb-ft of torque. Go for the Cyberbeast upgrade, and it adds an additional motor to give it 845 hp and 1,030 lb-ft. We did mention the Cyberbeast was a touch overkill.

Final Thoughts

Words such as low-key and subtle are not words we’d use to describe the Cybertruck. It grabs all kinds of attention, and it isn’t a pickup for introverts. While its design, and let’s be honest, brand, is polarizing, the Cybertruck packs loads of impressive tech and astonishing performance. Forget about whispering your eco-credentials when you buy this — it’s all about presence.
