Overland Expo West is a must-attend event for the overlanding set, a place to check out the latest gear and new rig builds. Nissan, looking to shine a light on its Titan and Titan XD models as a potential base for an overland build, revealed a kitted-up Titan XD Pro-4X with a Cummins turbodiesel V8 today at the show.

Starting at the bottom, Nissan swapped on some 17-inch beadlock wheels wrapped in Nitto's Ridge Grappler, a sort of mud/all-terrain hybrid tire that's suited for most off-road conditions. The truck was lifted three inches above that with components from Icon and Hellwig air springs, and topped with a Rhino Rack and CVT roof-mounted tent. Fab Fours Bumper contributed the front and rear pieces, and Warn supplied a Zeon 12-S Winch. Strapped to and under the Leitner cargo rack is all the other gear you might expect from a fully-kitted expo rig, like Rotopax fuel cans and a Hi Lift jack. And don't forget a shovel, an unsexy but extremely functional accessory. This one's from Krazy Beaver.

Nissan will be taking the Titan XD Project Basecamp on the road after Overland Expo West to other similar outdoor and overland expos around the country, so if you aren't in Flagstaff this week you might be able to catch it later.
