Autonomous Bolt EVs now testing in Arizona

It's the second location for these sorts of test after San Francisco, CA.

The GM Cruise LLC has been testing autonomous Chevy Bolt EVs in San Francisco since (at least) May, since that's when spy shots of the zero-emission AI cars came out. Today, a tweet by Cruise Automation (which GM bought in March) reveals that self-driving Bolt EVs are on the road in Scottsdale, Arizona as well.
Exactly what Cruise Automation is doing with all these Bolt EVs is not 100 percent certain. The company's website says that is is, "developing autonomous technology capable of handling challenging aspects of city driving" and that it is, "testing the future of mobility." Informed guesses suggest that GM will use Cruise technology to create self-driving cabs for Lyft.
