Mad Max: Fury Road gets new theatrical trailer

Been hankering for some big-screen dystopian action? It's been a long time since the original Mad Max films debuted in the 1980s, but three decades since the arrival of the last installment, a new one is coming to the silver screen.

Called Mad Max: Fury Road, it's directed by the same Australian visionary George Miller (who's kept himself busy these past few years making animated movies about adorable penguins), but swaps out that nutcase Mel Gibson for Tom Hardy (of Inception, Warrior and The Dark Knight Rises fame). He'll be joined by Charlize Theron (who of course needs no introduction) and Nicholas Hoult (who you might recognize as Hank McCoy/Beast from the most recent X-Men movies).

Together they'll depict a post-apocalyptic wasteland the likes we haven't seen, well... since the original Mad Max movies. Fury Road premieres next summer, but the studio has been kind enough to release another two-and-a-half-minute-long trailer to keep film buffs and movie goers on their toes, so check out the motorized mayhem.
