For those of you who may have face-planted from a stray cord at a publicly accessible electric vehicle charging station, you'll now have a place to air your grievances. As if the plug-in vehicle driving contingent wasn't Yelped-up enough, folks can now "rate" their local charging station.

Los Angeles-based Recargo, the folks that brought you PlugShare EV charging station locator, will launch "PlugScore" for folks using iOS or Android smartphone systems or even the good old Internet. PlugScore will operate "much like a restaurant rating system," Recargo says, meaning that people can flame charging-station operators with impunity.

How many different ways a person can "rate" an EV charging station is still a mystery to some of us. That said, PlugScore will be part of the PlugShare suite of services that lets users do things like share their home electricity sources with road-weary EV drivers, get notifications of sparkling new charging stations and plan trips using Google Maps.

By the way, for those who are curious, there are about 6,500 publicly accessible plug-in charging stations across the country, according to the US Department of Energy. And we think all of them are awesome. Check out Recargo's press release below.
