RR of the Day: 2000 Camaro SS

/
If you haven't figured it out yet, the vehicles that gain our affection are the ones that are driven and enjoyed. We like to see them modded, on the track, mashing around cones and billowing huge clouds of smoke. This 2000 Camaro SS fits those criteria and it's evident that Flickr member ru2noon3er thoroughly enjoys his pony car.

Judging by the modifications so far, he is a true power junky with a mild handling fetish. Hanging from the outside of the honkin' V8 resides a ported throttle body, LS6 intake manifold and new headers. Inside, he's upgraded the valvetrain with new springs and retainers, thrown in a new bumpstick and has plans on a custom cam in the future. Along with the engine work, he's added a strut tower brace and a weld-in subframe connector, electing to leave the Bilstein suspension alone for the time being.

The future looks bright, as new intake and exhaust plumbing is on the horizon and when they're partnered with the custom cams, run2noon3er is expecting to spin the dyno wheels to the tune of 430 HP. Good enough for drag strip runs and autocross duty.

Keep on keepin' on and remember, when in doubt, burnout.

Follow the jump to find out how to submit your vehicle for our RR of the Day feature.

How to submit to RR of the Day:

Upload up to three photos of your ride to your own account at a size no larger than 450 pixels wide if possible and include as much information about it and yourself as possible. Even if your ride is sweet, it will not be chosen if there's not a lot of info accompanying it. Click on each photo and just above the picture it will say "Send to group". Click that and select the Autoblog group. You're done, that's it!
