According to
AutomobilWoche,
Toyota Motor Co. is considering building a new manufacturing facility somewhere in Europe. Such a plant would begin production by the end of the decade and manufacture 100,000 vehicles a year, with possible sites in the running being France and Germany.
A Toyota spokesperson said the AutomobilWoche report was just speculation. We have to wonder, though, just how much, given that the automaker has been heavily marketing their new vehicles ( Lexus GS, etc.) across The Pond.
