Detroit Auto Show: Mazda5

The small European van market that others have ignored (at least the non-retro part of the market) has now been taken by Mazda. While the Mazda5 was no big secret, the official pictures and info has just been released. The mini-minivan features a very adaptable interior and is powered by the same 2.3-liter four MZR engine that can be found in the Mazda3 (157 hp, 140 lb-ft). It will be available in Sport or Touring trim levels. The Touring level adds fog lights, rear spoiler and side skirts to the exterior. Both levels are outfitted with17-ich wheels. More pics inside.
