Rolls-Royce prides itself on exemplifying the pinnacle of automotive elegance. The brand is synonymous with quality and luxury. However, in the end even a Rolls is still just a car, and if you don't keep it up, it's bound to fail. That deterioration can be seriously fun to watch, though.

This 2005 Rolls-Royce Phantom might now be one of the worst cars on the planet and only has a little over 95,000 miles on it. The video claims that the original owner in New Jersey didn't make payments on the car for three years but rented the sedan out to people and used it for a livery service. Now, it's repossessed and would probably cost more to fix than it's worth.

This Phantom has had a hard life. We don't want to spoil too many of the broken pieces because they pile up to become increasingly absurd. However, the pièce de résistance must to be the broken Spider-Man umbrella in the door.

Warning, there is some explicit language in the otherwise hilarious video; scroll down to watch this automotive travesty.

You could probably recoup some of your losses by vacuuming all the carpets and reselling the cocaine that's recovered.

How do you get away with not making payments on a car for 3 years? I'm 2 days late on a car payment and my bank is calling me.

He rented it to people, for one thing. Of course unlike a rental company he probably didn't care to whom and didn't have the money to maintain it, so the combination of moneyless owner and dozens of poor drivers and trashy people ruined it.

Wow, so this is what a used $300k rolls looks like. Just goes to show you no matter what it cost, if it isn't maintained properly, it will fall apart to.

The most annoying part of the video is the gent who talks about what a "Piece of crap" the car is. Come on, a loose piece of trim, a few scratches and a dent seem to be the damage to the body, and one piece of trim is broken on the rear seat. In terms of suspension pieces that are gone I suspect it is the airbladder, not a huge deal. Yep, an almost flat rear tire for sure, but I notice there was n ot even an attempt to put air in the almost flat tire. Most worrisome is the knock in the engine which sounds pretty ominous, but without investigation could be something as simple as a dying water pump. Still, in this condition the car is worth "ONLY" about $40,000.

Agreed. The guy knows the car was unloved. But knowing the car had no suspension, they could have brought a set of old wheels to mount just for load/unloading/parking situations. Then they would've been able to ship it on the truck. And the engine prob needed a full tuneup - replace all plugs, belts, pumps check for oil leaks.

How sad. Words cannot describe my utter contempt for the former owner to destroy such a beautiful, hand built car.

I have to say, even though I don't normally care about most of these kind of plutocrat status symbols, this made me sad. It's sad to see any car neglected like this.
