Well at least we now know why Ken Block "just ain't care" about smashing up his Ford Fiesta rally car recently. It's because he's getting a full brand makeover including a new team name, new paint scheme and even a new headquarters. Formerly known as Monster World Rally Team, Block and his Fiesta will now be competing under the Hoonigan Racing Division name, which is based out of a new 12,000 square foot facility located in Park City, UT.

As you can tell in the image above, Hoonigan Racing will replace the familiar black, white and green paint scheme with a more colorful design featuring plenty of blue, purple and red; the Monster Energy logo retains some of the car's green. The new paint scheme was inspired by Block's love of skateboard graphics from the '80s and early '90s as well as "Miami Vice-era" speedboats.

Block will continue to compete in multiple rally racing series such as Global RallyCross, World Rally Championship and X Games. The new headquarters features office space on one side and a shop for the cars on the other side. The building features plenty of stuff you'd expect from a company designed around Ken Block, including a massive gaming station for racing video games, recycled shipping containers used throughout the facility and a black bear.

Block also hints at the next Gymkana on the Hoonigan Racing blog:

I can't comment too much on it at this point, but we're taking a very different approach to it for this year. That's all I'm going to say right now!"

So, we guess we'll be looking forward to that, then.

What's with all the negativity here? Like any of you wouldn't like to work in an office like that??? Good for him, he's been good at branding and marketing himself.

Agreed. I much prefer to see a car going fast around a turn WITHOUT spinning its wheels.

Why don't you both return to your obviously incredible lives. You must like Ken Block enough to click on the story, read it, and then decide to comment because your opinions are so incredible that they must be shared with the nation, nay THE WORLD! Thanks for leaving such inspiring comments, you're the reason the Internet is so inviting.

Ken's got style, that's for damn sure. If you don't like the car or the drifting, how could you not like Hoonigan's compound in the gallery? That's just sick!

Yes. Because i'm sure he designed this. You probably watch MTV Cribs and thin all those football players and hip-pop artists do all their own interior design too.

Awww, you going to cry about it? Yes, he drives better than me. Yes, he's successful at marketing himself. And? What about his actual racing experience...apart from the X-games? It gets pretty annoying the amount of coverage that AB and several other U.S-based blogs give this guy. Meanwhile, you step outside the U.S and most people have never heard of him. The U.S has had a recent tendency to idolize and glorify these sub-standard "celebrities" and feed them to the public. Ken Block...Travis Pastra...Ken Block...Travis Pastrana...etc 90% of their fans have probably never even watched an actual competition that they've entered apart from the X-Games or their precious little Gymkhana videos & stunt driving. Go ahead and go on youtube and type their names in. Check out the ratio of actual professional racing footage to stunt driving videos. Again, yes...he drives better than me and every other person who like me also dislike him. But the amount of actual media coverage these guys get on here and other car blogs is pretty absurd. Over-rated. I mean seriously. Just replay the video AB posted yesterday. Oh yeah, let's crash into the wall, shoot it, edit it, upload it. Just look how awesome he is. Slammed a car into the wall and what do fanboys think about it? "Awsome bro! He's so good!" Meanwhile, real race car drivers with actual accolades...

If you know a little about Block, it's clear he's got extraordinary talent. Built DC from nothing into a huge business, he designed DC product and started his own race team. He's a self made millionaire that follows his passions... You come across as the type who would watch MTV cribs and wallow in your own jealousy, but thanks for your sentiments.

@Andre Neves "It gets pretty annoying the amount of coverage that AB and several other U.S-based blogs give this guy". How many other US rally drivers are currently more successful than Ken Block? Weird, huh. A US based blog writing an article about a US based rally driver. Bizarre...I know. Who can believe it? How many other US rally drivers are making any noise in rallying worldwide other than KB? Your actually ripping your on countrymen? How supportive.

Looking at his Hooligan Racing program, small wonder how he did so well with DC Shoes. Might not fit my personal tastes, but the brand definitely has a solid team look to it. Now if only he took his talent of gathering resources and coverage and applied it to a new driving talent.
