It's been a while since we got an ad from France that didn't involve techno music or events that are – outside of France, at least – just plain odd. Yet Peugeot plays it straight in a spot for its new 208 called "There are sensations one never forgets."

It's as low-key as it is touching, with audio backing provided by a retread of Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door." Depending on the proclivities of your workplace, though, it also might be a teeny bit Not Safe For Work – of course they had to leave a few French touches in it. You'll find the video below.

Welp, we now know Peugeot will never make it to North America now.... cause they show boobs in their commercials! CAN'T HAVE THAT!

Oh yuk! And what about the car! Nothing, so not worth mentioning much then? I took a look at one and it is yet another small car. Ho-hum...

I can't help but to make the design connection between a Yaris and this 208.

Biggest problem is that when the hand grabs the "shifter" it's clearly a very plastic econobox automatic.

Very nice. Would be an awesome ad for a muscle car.

All the comments about it looking like a Yaris are the wrong way around. When the current Yaris came out, it looked a lot like a squarer version of the 207 at the rear. Besides, this is styled far more interestingly than the dreary Yaris.

MUCH better than the silly "Let your body drive" advert we get in the UK. They should seriously show this here, all they'd have to do is change the slogan at the end.
