This one will take some puzzling. Toyota has released an ad for the company's brand-new 2013 Auris hatchback, complete with a topless model. It's not what you think, however. The agency behind the spot contracted Stav Strashko, a 19-year-old male model born in the Ukraine and raised in Israel for the role. Strashko has a distinctly androgynous appearance and has modeled women's clothing in the past. He says he gets mistaken for a female fairly often, but believes "the mind sees what it wants." This may very well be the point of the Auris ad.

After Strashko struts for the camera, the text on the screen reads, "Not trendy, not casual, not for everyone." If shock value was the intent, it seems to be working – the new five-door's ad has soaked up more than 650,000 views on YouTube since Sunday. Something tells us we should brand this one with a potentially Not Safe For Work tag. Check out the clip and a behind-the-scenes video below.

Good tuck job. I mean...the way Toyota re-fashioned the rear overhang on the Auris. :-)

I was straight guy,but definitely I can appreciate beautiful things just like how like how I was passionate about beautiful autos,a beautiful shirt & stuff,a great looking furniture & building,& also a beautiful people! Sure I cant make a love with him,but that doesnt mean I cant admit that he had one of beautiful face & facial I ever seen.(Andrej Pejic is still my top 1 because he had very exotic looking facial complexion & as beautiful as french couture model girl,& looking handsome as well at the same time) I just love androgynous people. It sad that I might not be able to be even good at one side of it(as a man since I not that good looking anyway)

This reminds me of a confusing, alcohol-soaked night I spent in Thailand.

Thats hilarious! There had to be some guy out there somewhere that was droolin over that guys butt as he strutted his stuff totally selling himself as a girl. That was a lick ad. I had already started to get all like nothin new just more gratuitous sex and provocative female nudity, then boom! DUDE. LOL. I'm suprised I havent seen a spot like that here in the states.

if it played on tv in the States, the conservative right would be picketing the Toyotat lots. In this country only nearly naked females are OK on tv,

If I hadnt read the description clearly stating the model is male, I would have totally checked that out. In fact, 1/4 of me still did, thus seeing the full frontal was a shocker. "Ohmygod She's topless, I'm seeing boobies. No wait, that is seriously flat, no it's a dude, of course!" I guess Stav cant complain, getting straight guys to check him out must be a hell of a compliment.
