Hot-rod Audis get your blood boiling? Can't argue with the Audi RS5, then. Take one of the most lithe coupe forms you can buy, pack it with the 4.2 FSI V8 found in the base R8, back it with an S Tronic gearbox and lay the power down with Quattro all-wheel-drive. Sounds tasty. The biggest problem with the RS5 right now is that you can't get one.

Dreamers and Germans (and dreamy Germans) can have some fun with Audi's website and set up a Deutschland-spec RS5 just the way they'd like to buy it. A trip to the Konfigurator is a multifaceted gift, too. Not only will you get to gaze at pictures of the RS5 and select from its available options, you also get to learn what Kraftsoffverbrauch kombiniert means. The only thing better would be having the actual car in your driveway.

*Note: You may need to select the RS5 under the Model page at the bottom left.

This car's roofline and C pillar have a lot of similarity to the Camaro IMO.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. Just half-glancing at it I could've mistaken it for a G8 coupe. ...at least from the side anyway.

      Mazeltov!
What the heck Mazel tov has to do with German?

By the way, it's misspelt. The correct form is "Sprechen Sie Deutsch?" Capitalization makes all the difference in German.

You beat me to it, but yes, since you'd be addressing a second party Sie is the correct form. sie would be third person.

Kraftsoffverbrauch kombiniert means fuel consumption in a combined cycle of city, b-road and autobahn.

Beautiful car, but 3,800+ lbs and a mandatory two-pedal gearbox? No thanks...

You can get 20's in Europe?!?!!?!?

Nice for sure, but my S5 is the only way to go, 6MT, no auto for me even through i know its faster shifting, call me old if you want, i would rather have a sports car that I shift then one with paddles- lets not make the top line german cars do everything for you like the GT-R now... BUT, if this little slice of heaven comes over the pond in a US variant with an MT, I might have to find a way to trade up!
PS- if you thinking about any 5 series model, its worth the coin, this car rocks.

Welcome to last week. But if you view the configuration page with Chrome it will convert it to English for you.
But RS5 owners don't care about Combined Fuel Consumption! (The translation of Kraftsoffverbrauch kombiniert, for those that don't catch it.)

Yup. Been to Audi.de and Audi.uk more than a few times already. Ready for it to hit the states now. Not sure I will still feel the same next spring when it finally does become available to order in the U.S. 1 year is a long time to wait and other manufacturers will have some tasty rides out by then...
