You can't buy the 2011 BMW 5 Series yet, but German tuner Racing Dynamics knows what it's going to do to the car when you can. Opt for the 535i and you'll take delivery of a sedan turned into an R35, pulled by a turbocharged six that's got a 104-horsepower bump to 410 along with 385 pound-feet of torque. It will get to 60 miles per hour nearly a second faster than the standard 535i.

But if you can, why not take the R50S? That's a 550i taken from 407 ponies and boosted up to 620 horsepower. Controlling that oomph will be a Racing Dynamics sport suspension, locking rear differential, and a brake system with slotted discs that can handle 800 degrees Celsius. Making it sound good will be a new exhaust, and making it look good will be a minimal bodykit featuring a pair of dual pipes and 21-inch forged wheels.

Amazing, order me the 535 with the X drive, that would be fun for the snow here. And I dig those BBS wheels on it.

620hp in a 4 door sedan. Jesus Christ.
Yeah what do you think they will do to new M5? I think about 1000 hp

        To jazielcueto:

This is a refined sedan and an EVO is more of a boy-racer type vehicle. You can't really compare the two, besides the fact they have four doors. I'm sure the EVO will be much more fun overall, but you just can't even remotely compare the interiors or refinement of both.

        Why so surprised?

That's common number for tuned/modded Evos...

Beside the power and too much of it...there's nothing exiting about the car....looks like a big 3 series or it could look like a small 7 series.... Hey at least you know its a BMW and nothing else.

The acceleration must be brutal. Nothing like killer performance in a sedan with space and usability.

i'm kind of stunned at how pretty the new 5 is. great rims on an gorgeous sculpture of an auto. i'll take one with a stick and x-drive. perfect car for snowy NY.

Uhm.. they're selling a car tuned that hasn't even hit the market yet?
One of the models having a notably new engine, with completely different programming ( the turbo 3.0

Well at least you're better off than those poor saps that put a deposit down on an Aptera :(

Wow. I wonder where the new M5 will fit into these aftermarket tuner versions.
Wow... what's the tread life on those?

Looks great though. Looks a lot like the current 3 from this angle.

      G power 730hp...

I would love to see these tuning companies actually post real pics someday. Not these photoshopped manufacturer press photos.
How? The car isn't sold yet! The tuners try to release their version as soon as possible, thats why the looks mostly get done before the car is even sold.
So if the car is not released yet, how are they advertising modifications on a car if they haven't been tested to be safe or marketable?
It's like me going out and telling everyone that I am selling a tuning package for the Chevy Volt that brings your horsepower to 720 and torque to 800. But I haven't had a chance to try and test out the modifications to see if they are safe or if I can even reach that claim at all.
The car doesnt exist but the 3.0 Turbo and 4.4 Turbo do exist.
So they have had a chance to work on the engines for a while now.

So they simply estimate that a their car will be faster by a second.
Wow that is amazing. If the new M5 has under 600hp it will disappoint compared to this kit.
