Autoblog Podcast #43
After a long flight home and the recovery of one lost piece of luggage, I'm back on U.S. soil after covering the 2006 Paris Motor Show. Damon spends this podcast grilling me about the show, and my verdict on the event you might find surprising. I reveal my pick for Best of Show and which manufacturers had the best displays with the most promising vehicles. We didn't forget the news that happened while I was away, and spend some time on General Motors' announcement that a Pontiac-badged Holden is a guaranteed attendee of the 2007 Chicago Motor Show. Of course, that invariably led to a discussion about recent details surrounding the next Chevy Impala, rumored to be sitting on an Australian-sourced rear-wheel drive platform and looking for all the world like a four-door Camaro. Hope you enjoy the show![MP3] Listen to the show now.

Where are the pictures of the Suzuki Splash? No one has them. What is the story?

Be Careful of what you wish for Re: automakers not giving you the headsup about new concepts. Autoblog would be pretty boring with out all those leaked and not so leaked concepts. What would you post on in the auto show dry season?

The reason the Peugeot 908RC has such a big trunk is because it's mid-engined!
