Shots of Koenigsegg CCX surface pre-Geneva

Our team of Spanish Autobloggers has posted a pair of pics showing what Koenigsegg will be have on display at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, the Koenigsegg CCX. This exotic appears to owe its existence to one purpose–regaining the title of “World’s Fastest Car” that was snatched with such ease by the Bugatti Veyron and its 253-mph terminal velocity. No specs are available on the vehicle, besides the assumption that it will go faster than 253 mph, and these pics gleaned from the Geneva Motor Show’s website are all we got until we arrive at the show in March.

I kind of lose more respect for this car every time they rush out another haphazard "me too" edition where they tack on more power solely to take the top speed record from ___________.

Actually, the CCX was designed for the US market, so the rear was redesigned slightly, as well as the addition of amber markers on the front and back.
The extra power is just an added bonus.

The Veyron doesn't cost 850,000/$1.8m for nothing.
This latest version from Koenigsegg will have its work cut if it the fastest title they're after..

This design from Koenisegg does not even come close to that of the Lamborghini Murcielago, it's R-GT variant, or the fantastic Bugatti Veyron. Even the Ford GT or the Dodge Viper looks better.
Speed? Who gives a rats azz on speed if it can go over 200MPH. In the territory of "ludicrous" speed, the only time you can actually tell the difference between a car that goes 205 and 250 MPH is 30 secs later on 10 straight runways lined up for a race.

I just wish they could have done something like that with the american Vector Supercars.

The Front looks like an ugly Version of the C6, the back like a 20year old Lambo.....

Being Swedish, I might be slightly biased. But I absolutely love this car - without ever seeing it, of course.
I can understand if people have a hard time taking it seriously, seeing that it's produced by such a small car company. I don't understand comments about it being ugly though. I think it looks super mean. The Pagani Zonda, though, is truly ugly. Looks like something that fell off a passing alien space ship.
On to the important bit: I doubt that this car is any different, tech-wise, to the CCR. If I'm not mistaken, this is only a rebadged CCR which has been adapted to the requirements of the American market. I hope I'm wrong though.

This car is the greatest ever. It's got a unique design (not similar to a lambo or a C6)and it's made of super exclusive refined sweedish materials.
It is undoubtfully my favorite car, and it runs easily over other supercars made by more generalist brands, such as the SLR or the Carrera GT. The Bugatti Veyron made be nice too, but in the end it's just a VW brand trying to leave a mark in automotive history.
All those cars lack the passion and exclusivity of the Koenigsegg. It has no competitors.
