Updated SLR from Merc due in September?

We’re hearing from Auto Motor und Sport via eMercedesBenz that the biggest, baddest Merc on the block, the McLaren SLR, may be getting updated as early as this September. The basis for this proclamation are spy photos that show a beefed up SLR puttering around with“enhancements.”

We’re hearing from Auto Motor und Sport via eMercedesBenz that the biggest, baddest
Merc on the block, the McLaren SLR, may be getting updated as early as this September. The basis for this proclamation
are spy photos that show a beefed up SLR puttering around with “enhancements.”

The German mag is
claiming horsepower will increase from 626 to 650 hp, new interior digs, larger 19-inch wheels, a firmer suspension, new
brakes and a lower overall weight. Time to sixty should drop from 3.8 to 3.6-seconds. The price of entry will probably
increase dramatically, as well. You pay for what get though, right?
