This was a total surprise. We reluctantly went over to the Mini booth, preparing ourselves for a uneventful
presentation. I really only expected to see several European market variants of the Mini and little else. Boy, was I
wrong! The Mini Concept carries the same long body seen in the extended Mini spy shots shown previously. Also
encouraging is the progressive design, which will be needed soon to keep the Mini fresh and desirable. Gone are the
days when you could go nearly twenty without a major styling overhaul. This was a cool concept, probably one of the
most surprising and refreshing ones on the show floor. Those split rear doors are cool too. Thumbs up Mini!
