Apparently General Motor’s Red Tag Sale and Chrysler’s Miles of
Freedom campaign have not been drawing in expected crowds. GM is quietly offering cash back up to $4,000 on its 2005
Trailblazer, for example, in addition to the Red Tag Sale price currently on the model. Chrysler is offering more
modest $1,000 cash back on most of its 2005 vehicles while up to $500 on most 2006 models.
As always, buying towards the end of the month can bring more incentives from dealers. Just be prepared to haggle
(unless it’s a Saturn dealership, of course).
