As Autoblog
previously reported, the U.S. is set to get the diminutive
Smart car. Well, ZAP, the company contracted to distribute the Smart in America, has put the
first U.S. legal Smart car up for sale on eBay. As of Thursday afternoon, some 10,000 people had visited the
auction, with 61 of them placing bids of the Smart, raising the cost to nearly $24,000. But not to worry, you still
have a week left to bid if you want to pay a hefty premium to be the first one on your block to own a Smart. Happy
bidding…
