2005 was another good year for Ferrari who sold 1550 units in the U.S. alone (up 15 percent from 2004), accounting
for 30 percent of the company’s overall sales. This is the 13th consecutive year the company has had growth from
its U.S. sales. The majority of vehicles sold were the Superamerica (they actually ran out of stock!), the 612
Scaglietti, the F430 Coupe, and Spyder. They were also helped, at least according to the company, by Ferrari’s
personalization program: 99 percent of the vehicles Ferrari sells aren’t straight off the line, they have
something customized about them.

But the company is not resting on its laurels. Autoblogger Erin Mays
reports that Ferrari will debut the 12 cylinder 599 GTB at Geneva this year. The company also says that it
will also establish a racing school in the U.S. as well! (Information to follow.)
