No,
we’re not talking about confections.
Remember those reports warning car buyers about
unscrupulous (or unknowing) car salesfolks and dealerships selling vehicles damaged by Hurricane Katrina? Well,
apparently the problem is not just in the U.S. but also sweeping southward into Mexico and Central America via
Texas.

Officials of the Lone Star state are warning those countries that damaged vehicles from Louisiana and
Texas could be waiting to be processed at the border of Texas and Mexico on their way to Central America. These vehicles
are called “coches chocolates” because, like a box of chocolates, one doesn’t know what they’re
buying.
