Cadillac has unveiled a new V-Series concept, but you won’t be able to drive it. This is the V-ONE—yes, it’s a one-of-one concept—which shares its performance foundations with the V-Series.R race car. Co-developed by Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and chassis constructor Dallara, the V-ONE shares much of its race-bred architecture with the V-Series.R, but it’s been designed to be easier to operate and incorporates an exclusive cockpit with more refined materials. For Cadillac, the V-ONE is also a glimpse into plans for the V-Series performance brand in the years to come.
830 Horsepower From a Hybrid Powertrain

The Cadillac V-ONE’s striking exterior conceals a hybrid V8 powertrain that produces 830 horsepower combined—it’s roughly twice as powerful as a V8 Escalade. It shares major suspension components with the V-Series.R, such as the double wishbone design, pushrod-actuated coil, and torsion spring elements, complete with lateral and heave dampers front and rear.
Since the V-Series.R arrived in 2023, Cadillac Racing has achieved 10 wins, 16 pole positions, and 32 podiums. Those achievements are from combined events in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship and the FIA World Endurance Championship, and they highlight the capabilities of the V-Series.R’s platform.
“The Cadillac V-ONE Concept is the ultimate manifestation of a customer performance concept and is a clear sign of our ambition for the Cadillac V-Series brand in the future,” said Dominic Najafi, Executive Design Director, Global Cadillac.
Race-Car Proportions and Bespoke Cockpit

The Cadillac V-ONE’s aggressive lines draw strongly from the race car, but the automaker has added a few special touches for this concept. These include a new V-Series wheel design and new dark-persona V-Series badging. To portray changing lighting from day to night in an endurance race, the team created a hand-sprayed paint gradient that goes from silver to deep navy.
Inside, there’s room for only the driver in the racy cockpit. Highlights range from the exposed carbon structure to a custom UX/UI, a proper racecar steering wheel, a customized driver’s seat, and the strategic use of recycled fabrics. A data visualization system provides drivers with detailed feedback and coaching as they get to grips with the performance potential of the car.
That supports the goal of the V-ONE, whereby competition hardware is packaged to be more accessible to customers.
Why It Matters

Cadillac
For Cadillac’s V-Series, the new V-ONE demonstrates a potential path to developing track-only race cars for a small but passionate group of customers. Such concepts may seem far from reality at this stage, but the V-ONE could set the foundation for a rival in the realm of the Ford Mustang MkIV, or a track-focused program to rival Ferrari’s XX. Often, lessons learned from developing such cars can find their way into street-legal performance vehicles that anyone can buy.
For now, visitors at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering in California have the unique opportunity to get a first look at the V-ONE, where it will be on display on August 14.
