A smaller pop-up canopy carport can be a smart choice when you need covered outdoor space but don’t have room for something like a full-size 10-foot by 30-foot shelter. The smaller footprint is typically designed for patios, gardens, driveways, side yards, and tight storage areas, while still giving you space to protect bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, firewood, garden tools, lawn gear, and project supplies. It can also work as a small shaded workspace for outdoor repairs, potting plants, organizing tools, or keeping gear out of direct sun and light rain.
With this limited-time deal we found at Walmart, you can get the Zimtown 6-Foot by 6-Foot Pop-Up Canopy Carport on sale for just $91. It normally sells for $159, so this is a solid 43% discount on a compact portable shelter with 36 square feet of covered space. The canopy measures 6 feet long, 6 feet wide, and 6.5 feet tall, and it weighs just 24.4 pounds. It’s made with durable polyethylene fabric and a metal frame, with a waterproof, UV-resistant, tear-resistant design.
The flexible layout is what makes this especially useful for smaller spaces. It has a roll-up zippered access door and removable sidewalls, so you can use it as a more enclosed storage shelter or open it up for ventilation and easier access. The package also includes two ground support poles, four tension adjusters, 10 ground stakes, and four guy ropes to help keep it stable.
It’s certainly not large enough for most full-size cars, despite the carport name, but it makes a lot of sense for motorcycles, bicycles, yard equipment, tools, firewood, outdoor storage, small project areas, and temporary shade where a bigger shelter would be overkill.
