Angle grinders are extremely versatile tools, regardless of whether you use them to maintain and repair cars or to tackle household projects. Mechanics routinely turn to them to remove paint or rust from auto components, while DIYers often rely on them to cut through metal pipes, slice through ceramic tiles, and even sharpen lawnmower blades.
The only downside to buying an angle grinder is that, unless you stumble upon a ridiculously affordable model from a generic brand or go with a more basic option from a top tool brand, it can be difficult to find a quality angle grinder for under $100. But today must be your lucky day, because Walmart is selling the Workpro 20V Cordless Angle Grinder Kit for almost 60% off during its Summer Deals event. It typically costs $159, but it’s just $67 for the duration of the event, which ends on Sunday.
58% OffThis angle grinder features a high-performance motor that can deliver up to 7,500 RPM, making it much more powerful than you might initially think. It’s also fairly compact, measuring only about 13.5 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 7.5 inches tall, and weighing just 3.5 pounds, which will allow you to work it in and out of tight spaces with ease. Plus, it comes with a long-lasting 4.0 Ah battery, which further improves its maneuverability and lets you take on numerous tasks on a single charge.
Additionally, this angle grinder includes everything you need to start using it right away. Outside of the tool itself and a battery with a charger, you will also receive five 4.5-inch metal cutting wheels, five 4.5-inch grinding wheels, and a couple of wheel protectors, as well as an anti-vibration auxiliary side handle and a spanner wrench to make it easy to change discs quickly.
“It’s lightweight, intuitive, and easily maneuverable,” one reviewer wrote. “I especially love how intuitive everything feels on it, since it’s my first time using an angle grinder.”
“It’s surprisingly powerful, portable, and very useful,” another shopper added. “What a great tool.”
