If it is true, as dads across the country often contend that “it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity” making everyone miserable this summer, then a dehumidifier is an important tool in the fight for comfort. That’s doubly true if you spend a lot of time working in a basement or garage space that otherwise lacks any sort of climate control. Right now, Amazon has a dehumidifier that’s perfect for such spaces on sale for just a hair over a quarter of what you’d normally pay.

The WoEleLigt Dehumidifier is on sale for $66 at Amazon, 72% off its normal $240 price tag. That price is good on the grey white colorway, with black coming in at $70, just a few dollars more. It’s designed to dry the air in spaces up to 1,000 square feet, so unless you’ve got a 4-car garage or larger it should do the trick in your garage.

This dehumidifier is a sleek plastic box with a simple, raised control panel near the top left corner and a colorful LED light strip spanning the bottom half. It’s just 14 inches tall, 8.3 inches wide, and 5.7 inches deep, so it will fit unobtrusively in small rooms and even RVs. Its small size also makes it easy to move, as does the dedicated handle on the back of the unit. Under the hood, there’s advanced dual-ore semiconductor technology that can remove up to 1,000 mL (34 ounces) of water a day. There’s a 98-ounce water tank, and you can also set up this dehumidifier to operate perpetually with the included drain hose. The control panel allows you to choose between high and low modes, the latter of which makes only 30dB of noise, and choose whether the LED cycles through colors, stays on one, or is off. The light can also light up red when the unit has a full tank and shuts off automatically.

This dehumidifier has been on Amazon for less than a month, but it’s already garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews, as 96% are either four or five stars. One shopper called it a “small but mighty” unit that “gets the job done.” They added that it’s “quiet enough for a bedroom and powerful enough to noticeably pull moisture out of the air.” It has a “clean design, easy setup, and actually works,” all “without taking up a ton of space.”

Another customer wrote that this dehumidifier is “quiet, compact, sleek and surprisingly effective for its size.” Plus, the “sleep mode is truly quiet,” making it a “great choice for bedrooms, bathrooms, or small basement spaces.”

Deals We’re Loving

As a brutal heat wave swamps the country, a solid dehumidifier has become a necessary device for those who want their basement, garage, or workshop to feel comfortable enough for long hours of work. The WoEleLigt Dehumidifier is just such a device, and for just $66 it’s also an incredible value that you’ll get plenty of use out of this summer and beyond.
