An 899-piece tool set sounds comically big, and it’s true that for a tool set to get that big there almost have to be some pieces more accurately characterized as single-use hardware. Regardless, the 899-piece tool set that’s currently on sale at Walmart still has everything you need for a household tool kit and, for a limited time, a healthy discount to make it even more appealing.
The Seizeen 899-Piece Tool Set is on sale for $100 at Walmart, 47% off its normal $190 price tag. Of those pieces, 777 are cable ties and hardware, meaning there are 122 tools and accessories, everything from a tire gauge to a level to slip joint pliers. That means this set is impressively comprehensive no matter how you count the pieces.
47% OffEverything is housed in a metal cabinet that’s 20.07 inches tall, 7.87 inches deep, and 14.37 inches wide. It holds four different layers, each molded to fit specific tools. This is a crucial feature, as it’s difficult to imagine how this set wouldn’t turn into a complete mess without dedicated spots for all 899 pieces.
As for the tools themselves, this 25.46-pound set includes nine combination wrenches, 15 1/4-inch socks, 14 1/2-inch sockets, 20 screwdrivers, a driver handle with 24 bits, measuring tape, and too many other tools and accessories (think extension bars for the sockets and a solid set of hex key wrenches) to list here. And because it also includes what you might call “junk drawer” items — scissors, a hammer, a glue gun — this set is truly a way to set up an otherwise empty home with nearly everything you might need to maintain it in one fell swoop.
One shopper who purchased this set as a gift for their boyfriend reported back that “he loves it” because, with “everything in one space,” there’s “no more hunting for tools.”
Another customer agreed, noting that “the organization of the kit made it a perfect gift.” Others added that it’s “just perfect” and a “beautiful set of tools.”
