Buying the correct car seat is one of the most critical steps that parents-to-be must take when preparing for a baby’s birth. Yet, many get increasingly confused while shopping for one, especially after walking down aisles filled with a wide range of rear-facing, front-facing, and booster seats. They often wonder which of these car seats will work best for their babies now, as well as which ones they might want to consider purchasing for later, once their children begin to grow.
The Safety 1st Grow and Go Sprint Convertible Car Seat is one of the options that eliminates all the guesswork from the equation. This car seat, which has received nearly 2,500 five-star reviews from Walmart customers, is designed to keep kids safe from the second they leave the hospital for the first time, right up until the time that they’re ready to ditch a booster seat altogether and sit in the backseat of your car with a regular seatbelt on. And for a limited time, this car seat, regularly priced $149, is on sale for only $119 at Walmart.
Available at this discounted price point in several colors — including black, gray, and purple — this convertible car seat is built to grow with a baby throughout their formative years. It can be used as a rear-facing car seat (for babies between 5 and 40 pounds and 19 to 40 inches), a front-facing car seat (for toddlers between 30 and 65 pounds and 34 to 49 inches), and a booster seat (for young children between 40 and 100 pounds and 43 to 52 inches). It’s also equipped with special features, such as “grow-with-baby pillows,” to keep babies comfortable as they experience growth.
Additionally, this car seat offers plenty of features that make life easier for parents. It boasts a QuickFit harness, which allows them to adjust the seat’s harness and headrest quickly without compromising safety. It also comes with a machine-washable, dryer-safe seat pad and a pair of dishwasher-safe cup holders, making it incredibly easy to clean.
But most importantly, parents can rest easy knowing this car seat has undergone the necessary engineering and testing. It meets or exceeds all federal safety standards for car seats, providing prospective parents with a bit of extra peace of mind at an exciting but stressful time in their lives.
“This car seat is great, as it grows with your baby, so you don’t need to purchase multiple car seats,” one reviewer wrote. “It’s very convenient.”
“The fabric and cushioning are very soft,” another shopper added. “The buckles are easy to snap, the cup holders are easy to remove and clean, and the design is so straightforward.”
