Unless you like your garage or workshop feeling like a sauna during the summer, a fan is a must-have, particularly if you’re working with paint or other chemicals that can put off unpleasant and dangerous fumes. This big, strong shop fan is on sale at Walmart right now with a very impressive discount, and it’s the perfect addition to any workspace in desperate need of ventilation.
The Patiosunny 24-Inch Industrial Drum Fan is on sale for $103 at Walmart, 43% off its normal $180 price tag. A 30-inch model is also discounted, its $220 regular price down by 45% to $120. The right size for you will depend on the size of the space you’d like to ventilate and what you use it for (which directly affects how often the air should be changed), but the smaller model will likely work well for most non-professionals without huge workspaces.
43% OffThis fan has an industrial-grade thickened steel housing with fan blades made of aluminium, a choice that makes sense because they’re lighter (so the motor doesn’t have to work as hard) and protected from damage by the aforementioned housing. It has three different speed settings that can deliver up to 8,800 cubic feet per minute of airflow, making it roughly the right fan for a normal two-car garage where standard automotive work happens. The barrel can be tilted within a 180-degree range, the wheels are large and feature an anti-slip coating, and there’s a reinforced handle and 6-foot power cord for flexible positioning around your space.
