Finding somewhere to put everything before winter can turn into quite the project, especially if your garage is already packed. Lawn mowers, motorcycles, electric bicycles, patio furniture, tools, and all the other stuff that accumulates throughout the year have to go somewhere. And once you start adding up how much space everything takes up, those little backyard sheds don’t look nearly as useful. A larger metal storage building could solve that problem, giving you somewhere to park equipment and store seasonal gear without sacrificing all the room in your garage.
The Pabimia 12-Foot by 20-Foot Outdoor Storage Shed is on sale at Walmart for $700 right now, down from its usual $1,620 price. That’s a massive $920 discount, bringing the cost of this 240-square-foot metal building down to less than half its regular price. Walmart is also offering free shipping, which is worth mentioning when you’re ordering something this massive. With a 12-foot wide by 20-foot deep footprint, there’s room for quite a bit of equipment, whether that’s a riding mower, a couple of motorcycles, bicycles, or a combination of outdoor furniture and tools.
Rare DealGetting larger equipment inside should be relatively straightforward thanks to the wide double doors, which can also be secured with your own padlock. There are two windows to let some daylight in, a welcome addition if you’re digging around for something without bringing a flashlight. The shed has metal wall panels, a reinforced steel frame, and assembly hardware included, though you’ll still need a suitable foundation and probably a few extra hands to put it together.
Snow and wind ratings aren’t specified in the listing, so it’s worth keeping that in mind before buying if you live somewhere with rough, stormy seasons. For $700, it’s a lot of potential storage space without the expense of building a traditional detached garage.
