If it feels like you’re forced to deal with power outages more regularly than ever before, you aren’t just imagining things. Everything from extreme weather to increasing demand for electricity has led to power outages striking cities all across the country.
To avoid getting stuck in the dark for hours on end, take full advantage of this ongoing Walmart deal by investing in a gas generator. This deal on the Nexpow Portable Inverter Generator, in particular, caught our eye, as the sale brings its price down from $579 to just $325.
Unlike some of the other generators on the market today, this one isn’t going to take up much space, as it’s only about 18 inches long, 11.5 inches wide, and just under 19 inches tall, while weighing less than 40 pounds. Yet, it’s capable of delivering up to 2,250 peak watts and 1,800 running watts with its 79.7cc 4-stroke OHV engine, making it an excellent choice for those looking to keep the lights and appliances on in their homes during power outages. It’s also outfitted with multiple outlets and ports, including a 20A/5-20R duplex outlet, a type-C port, and a USB port, allowing you to power multiple devices simultaneously and minimize the complications that outages can create.
Additionally, this generator’s compact size makes it easy to move around, turning it into the perfect power source for anyone who wants to bring it along on a camping trip or other outdoor adventure. Those who utilize it for these purposes routinely praise it for being remarkably quiet, as it limits noise to just 58 decibels. They have also been enamored with its Eco Mode, which enables it to run for up to 10 hours with a 25% load using only the gas in its 1.06-gallon tank.
One shopper said, “Perfect for camping or even an emergency backup for a small heater or fridge.”
“It’s absolutely amazing,” another reviewer wrote. “Literally the easiest and best generator I have ever owned.”
