Have you had enough of all the heat waves that have swept across the country in recent weeks? Even if you’ve spent them parked inside next to a portable air conditioner, you’re probably starting to get tired of all the 90- and 100-degree days. And just think: The summer technically isn’t even halfway over, so there’s a good chance that more heat waves are in your future.
You might not want to spend too much more time sitting out in the sun this summer. But if you’re searching for surefire ways to beat the heat, consider buying the Merryhome Solar Camping Fan and Light and leaving it out to catch some rays so you can rely on it to keep you cool. It normally retails for $70 at Walmart, but for a limited time, you can score one for only $31 and make surviving the second half of summer a little easier.
56% OffMeasuring roughly 11 inches tall, 9 inches wide, and 3 inches deep, and weighing just over 3 pounds, this camping fan and light won’t take up too much space. However, it’s still powerful enough to cool you off during the dog days of summer. It boasts four speeds — natural, low, medium, and high — and can generate an airflow speed of up to 15 ft/s, which is impressive given its small stature.
This fan also features a 90-degree tilt and foldable design, making it incredibly easy to angle in any direction, regardless of whether you’re camping in a tent or working from home at your desk. Additionally, it triples as a fan, a bright LED lantern, and an emergency power bank, turning it into even more of a must-have for those planning to use it for camping and other outdoor activities.
But what really sets this fan apart is that, while it has a rechargeable 20000mAh battery that you can plug in to charge, it’s also equipped with a solar panel, letting you harness the power of the sun to charge it. Just leave it in direct sunlight for roughly 6 to 8 hours, and it can provide up to 36 hours of wind or up to 60 hours of light before needing to be charged again.
“This is a great little solar fan,” one reviewer wrote. “I spend a lot of time outdoors, so it’s exactly what I needed. It puts out more air than you would think for its size.”
“It delivers top-notch coolness,” another shopper added. “This little cooling gem is perfect for outdoor fun. It’s compact, lightweight, and easy to carry.”
