Nut drivers can help you tighten and loosen hexagonal nuts and bolts and will come in handy in a variety of situations. Handymen, electricians, HVAC technicians, appliance repair specialists, and mechanics are just some of the people who could benefit from tucking them away in their tool boxes.
If you plan on using nut drivers early and often, you should shop around for a high-quality set that’s “built to last,” which is one of the many compliments reviewers have given the Klein Tools 7-Piece Magnetic Nut Driver Set. It’s one of the many nut driver sets that Klein Tools sells, and it’s the one we would recommend purchasing now, since it’s on sale for 25% off at Amazon. It usually costs $80, but you can order one for only $60, which is a steal when you consider that it was selling for over $100 just one year ago.
This 7-piece set features nut drivers in a wide range of commonly used sizes, including 1/2-, 7/16-, 3/8-, 11/32-, 1/4-, 5/16-, and 3/16-inch options. Each one, with the exception of the 3/16-inch nut driver, boasts a full hollow shaft, allowing you to work on long bolts with ease. Each is also equipped with cushion-grip handles to produce greater torque, and these handles are color-coded, making it easier to quickly find the sizes you need.
Additionally, these nut drivers have rare-earth magnetic tips to keep fasteners in place when you’re getting ready to tighten or finish loosening them. Like most other Klein Tools products, they’re also made in the USA using premium materials, and their shafts are chrome-plated to prevent rust and corrosion.
“It’s the typical top-of-the-line Klein Tools set,” one reviewer wrote. “I use these tools at work every day, and they’re very dependable.”
Another shopper added, “These are my first Klein Tools nut drivers, and they were well worth the investment. I use them constantly, and they’ve already lasted longer than any other nut drivers I’ve ever bought before.”
