It’s hard to enjoy a backyard with gardening gear, grilling equipment, and other outdoor accoutrements strewn about or piled up. An outdoor storage shed is an easy way to bring the sense of calm relaxation that only a well-organized space can provide, and right now Walmart has a well-reviewed, easy-to-set-up shed on sale for less than half of what it would typically run you.
The Homall Outdoor Storage Shed is on sale for $260 at Walmart, 53% off its normal $550 price tag. A 26 cubic foot option has a lesser discount, down 25% to $150, and we think that for most people the larger model — in either beige or white for the same price — is the better option. And unlike lots of other on-sale sheds, this one has free shipping, so you won’t cancel out the discount paying to get it delivered to your door.
This shed is made of resin, a common material in backyard storage because it’s waterproof, UV-resistant, and sturdy enough to hold up to severe weather, fading, and cracking for the long haul. The resin panels are reinforced with metal support tubes and secure snap-fit connectors. It’s roughly 4 feet long and 2 feet deep with a generous height of 6 feet that lets you pack tons of gear onto a small footprint. It has a unique, foot-operated latch that’s easy to open even if your hands are full of stuff, and internal slots where you can install shelves (sold separately) or leave it open for long items like shovels and weed whackers.
One shopper wrote that “this shed was fairly easy to assemble, looks very nice, and I think is well worth the price.”
Other customers agreed, saying that “assembly was straightforward and relatively easy,” and this shed has “surprising quality for the price.” One even said that they got 5 inches of rain the week they built it and “everything stayed dry” inside.
