With the weather likely to warm up dramatically for at least the next six months or so, it might feel like you still have plenty of time to get outside and trim the tree branches in your yard. But this isn’t actually true, as the ideal time to take down these branches is in early spring, before the trees start growing again.
With this in mind, you should start shopping for a chainsaw to deal with these tree branches sooner rather than later. And you’re in luck, as Walmart has a bunch of its best mini chainsaws on sale at the moment. The Hdj Cordless Mini Chainsaw, for example, retails for $56, but Walmart has it marked down to just $30 right now.
46% OffYou will be blown away by how compact this mini chainsaw is right from the start. It’s only about 16 inches tall and weighs less than 3 pounds, so you can take complete control of it with just one hand. It also features a high-performance pure copper motor that provides plenty of power, allowing you to slice through 6-inch tree branches in under 10 seconds. Plus, it comes with a pair of 21V lithium-ion batteries, each lasting about 60 minutes and recharging in 3 hours.
But the best part about buying this mini chainsaw over your other options is that it features an 8-inch guide bar, letting you use either 6-inch or 8-inch chains. You can rely on the shorter chains to handle trimming smaller trees and bushes, and longer ones to cut through thicker tree branches with ease. Having these options also improves the versatility of this mini chainsaw, since you can use it to trim trees or for home improvement projects when you need to cut wood or perform demo work.
“It’s a very versatile tool!” one reviewer wrote. “It’s lightweight, powerful, and portable, and it has been the perfect addition to my gardening tools.”
Another shopper added, “It’s a small but mighty saw. I had no trouble cutting through 4-inch branches that my 18-inch chainsaw struggled with.”
